Scrum Master Certification (SMC)

In SMC® (professional credentials: SMC) certification, the professionals are facilitators who ensure that the Scrum Team is provided with an environment conducive to completing the project successfully. The Scrum Master guides, facilitates, and teaches Scrum practices to everyone involved in the project, clears impediments for the team and ensures that Scrum processes are being followed.
 
The aim of the SMC Course is to:
• Provide an understanding of the principles in the Scrum framework.
• Provide a practical working knowledge of Scrum including roles, meetings, and artifacts.
• Prepare participants to be comfortable with implementing Scrum in their organizations.
• Prepare participants to take SMC® exam upon completion of the course.
 
Prerequisites
There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, it is preferable to complete the Scrum Developer Certified (SDC®) certification before applying for the Scrum Master certification.

120 minutes duration

Course Methodology

Delegates will participate in role-plays, during which they carry out a Scrum project.
Delegates will gain knowledge pertaining to, and the ability to anticipate issues related to the practical implementation of Scrum.
Delegates will be armed with the proper tools to address, resolve, and take the lead on Scrum issues in their organizations.
Delegates will be provided access to an online exam.
 
Certification
At the end of this course, the delegate will be prepared for the SMC® exam. Successful candidates will be awarded the Scrum Master Certified (professional credentials: SMC) certification by SCRUMstudy after passing the certification exam.
